 MENA ARKANSAS CITY HALL 

This tour was shot in front of the Mena Arkansas City Hall a which was built in 1917 as the local post office and served that purpose for about 60 years before being purchased and remodeled to become the Mena City Hall in the 1970's.  The Mena City Hall is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as is most of the downtown area.  Much of that side of town was heavily damaged by the April 9, 2009 tornado.  At least two of the buildings in this tour were either destroyed or so heavily damaged that they had to be demolished.  The City Hall survived the tornado with minor damage.
